Advancing Education and the Role of Technology – Thursday, 6th Nov 2014, 4pm

A select group of leading social entrepreneurs in the field of education including James Whelton, founder of CoderDojo, Mary Gordon, founder of Roots of Empathy and Mike Feerick, founder of one of the world’s leading MOOCs, Alison will explore the evolving role of technology in transforming education in conversation with Ben Rooney of Informilo. Technology in the classroom or the classroom online, the panel will explore the future of MOOCs, mainstreaming coding within education systems and can we really use technology to cultivate empathy?
