Introducing Three New Investors and Advisors joining the ChangeX team

We are very excited to welcome three new investors from the US and Ireland to the ChangeX team today: John O’Farrell, Albert Wenger and Mark Little.

That these three leaders in the technology world are backing us at this early stage gives us enormous encouragement and access to invaluable experience. We’re only getting started on what will be an incredibly exciting and impactful journey.

John O’Farrell was the first general partner at the number one ranked venture capital firm in the US, Andreessen Horowitz – the firm who have backed the likes of Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. John has played a key role in the global expansion of several high-growth startups and will bring this and partnership building experience to the team.

Journalist turned media entrepreneur, Mark Little, who recently sold Storyful to Newscorp is a long time supporter of social entrepreneurs and brings his understanding of citizen mobilisation, digital media and a powerful news network to ChangeX.

Albert Wenger, managing partner at New York’s Union Square Ventures is the third new investor and advisor to join. Being on the board of Foursquare, Etsy and education platform Edmodo, Albert’s experiences of building online platforms is invaluable for the team.

Albert’s investment comes with a crowdfunding campaign on crowrdrise.com, a US based crowdfunding platform. For every dollar committed on Crowdrise, Albert will match it up to a total of $50,000.

“We all live in communities and it is up to us to make our community stronger.” Albert Wenger writes in his Blogpost on why he believes in ChangeX.
