  2. By submitting an application, you are deemed to have read and accepted these terms and conditions. ChangeX.org reserves the right to disqualify any entries which do not comply with these terms and conditions.
  3. The fund opens at 9am on August 9, 2018 and closes at 5pm on October 31, 2018. However, registration may close sooner if all of the fund has been distributed to applicants who have completed the 30 day challenge before October 31, 2018. Please visit our campaign website www.changex.org/us/funds/greaterminnesotafund to confirm whether we are still accepting entries.
  4. There is a total fund of $15,000 available to help seed new community projects across Minnesota. Each applicant who completes the 30 day jumpstart challenge (see more below) will receive up to $500 to help get their selected project off the ground. The funding is available to cover the initial costs of setting up your project. Example uses of the fund include insurance for a Men’s Shed, gardening equipment for your community garden, or food for a Welcome Dinner.
  5. In order to receive the funding, you must have a bank account and you agree to keep all receipts associated with your project as evidence of how the funding has been spent. ChangeX will carry out spot-checks of receipts and a scanned copy of original receipts must be provided to us by email. If receipts cannot be provided, funding will become repayable to ChangeX and you will be ineligible to apply for any further funding opportunities through Changex.org.
  6. In order to receive funding, you agree to provide an update of your impact when requested by us (by email or phone) after 90 days. This should include the number of people benefitting from your project and photographic evidence of the project in action to be uploaded to your page on changex.org. If impact data cannot be provided, you will be ineligible to apply for any further funding opportunities through Changex.org.
  7. Alongside the seed finance, each applicant will receive a full range of additional free supports including:
    • A physical starter pack that will be sent to you (Jumpstart guide, calendar, meeting agendas)
