FIRST LEGO League Explore is a program for children aged 6-10, designed as a first step into the world of science (STEM) through play, discovery and cooperation. During the season, lasting several months, young participants engage in interactive activities that develop manual skills, creativity, teamwork skills, programming and engineering thinking. A key element of the program is the use of robotic LEGO bricks, thanks to which learning becomes accessible and inspiring - children who already love playing with blocks discover how they can become a tool for experimentation and learning.
The program consists of 4 components:
Core values:
The program emphasizes the development of values such as cooperation, honesty, respect and friendly competition. Thanks to this, children learn how to work effectively in a group, which is the foundation of their further social and educational development.
LEGO Robotic Bricks Project:
Participants engage in building moving LEGO models, which allows them to experiment with engineering and technology in a practical way. This project develops technical skills and creativity, allowing children to discover the basics of programming and robotics.
Team Poster:
The team poster is a creative form of presentation that allows young participants to express the identity of their group and its values. Creating a poster together builds a sense of belonging, inspiring further action.
Explore Exhibition:
The Explore Exhibition is an event during which teams present the results of their work, sharing ideas and achievements with other participants. This form of exhibition builds self-confidence in children and motivates them to continue developing their passion for science.
Team coaches (teachers or parents) receive full support throughout the duration of the program: training, regular webinars and teaching materials for conducting classes, thanks to which every teacher can effectively lead their team, even without previous experience in programming.
