FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge (Germany) "Welcome to FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge on ChangeX. FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge is aimed at 9- to 16-year-olds and helps children develop important STEM skills. This guide provides an overview of how you can introduce and implement the program in your school or institution. If you complete the 30-day challenge here on ChangeX, you can finance the cost of the program. This can be done during class in 1-2 hours per week (suggestion). The format in the classroom is designed so that it can be completely adapted to the needs of the class.


Register your class with HANDS on TECHNOLOGY

While you work through your 30-day challenge on ChangeX, you can officially register with HANDS on TECHNOLOGY eV to take part in the current MASTERPIECE℠ season! You can register using this link . Once you have registered, you will receive a registration confirmation by email from HANDS on TECHNOLOGY.

Your In the Classroom package contains enough materials for 30 children, including:

  • 2 x Challenge Sets - seasonal playing field mats and exclusive sets with LEGO® elements to build seasonal mission models.
  • Guides
    • 1 x Classroom Guide, management tips and best practices for implementing the program as well as instructions for running your own tournament.
    • 2 x Team Meeting Guide - instructions and lesson plans for running 12 sessions ending with a party. It includes learning outcomes, tips, cleanup tips, and checkpoints to monitor teams' progress.
    • 10 x Engineer Notebooks - Workbooks for teams to record ideas, notes and sketches. Each workbook provides a 12-session guided experience, including an introductory activity, session tasks, and a wrap-up where teams report what they learned and accomplished.
    • 5 x Robot Game Rulebooks - everything needed for the robot game. Includes board setup instructions, mission descriptions, and the rules teams must follow.

Purchase your 3 LEGO Education SPIKE™ Primes (Basic and Expansion Set). You still need a device for the SPIKE™ Prime app.
