As part its commitment to supporting communities where it has infrastructure presence, Amazon Web Services (AWS) has launched a $300,000 AWS InCommunities Sustainability Fund. The fund will help fuel the development of environmental stewardship and sustainability projects in Prince William, Loudoun, Fairfax, Culpeper, and Fauquier Counties. The goal is to inspire impactful projects that will have a positive impact across communities in Northern Virginia. Interested applicants can apply for funding to launch new projects, expand existing projects or introduce one of 7 established community programs (included below) with proven positive environmental impact in other global communities. How it works

  • Submit a photo and your action plan
  • Let us know what impact you are having in your community

  • You are an individual, an existing local group or a nonprofit organization
