Hi everyone,

Who joins me this Friday on the Climate Strike in Dublin?

There’ll be millions marching across the world. Thousands of us will be in Dublin and Cork.
But this is about more than just Dublin and Cork. We need our politicians to see that the whole country is up in arms.

The rally will start on Merrion Square South at 1.30pm.

Please let me know if you can make it. Would be great to see you there!

I have sought a meeting with Shane Griffith new manager of SuperValu Heuston Sth Qtr. Kilmainham D8 I am owner / occupier in the complex ;It has taken ten years to get Vegetarian foods / sandwiches etc properly in the unit : some progressive signs lately . I hope to discuss the SuperValu plastics policy ; .If anyone wants to join me let me know and I'll confirm when if I get an appointment ;if not today as part of this ACTION , then next week or so ;what matters is a change in policy , which takes time to realise on the shelves .Patience pays off , with determination ...................we use Dublin Food Coop outlet nearby .I'm off to the ecovillage tomorrow back Weds.

Shane Griffith manager HSQ SuperValu called me back today and confirmed for 12 noon Friday ;he sounded sensitised to the issues but struggling , within the corporate constraints; we agreed that even Diageo / Guinness have shown some initiative this week ! if you want to join me, meet at black stone seats at grassy park adjacent entrance to SuperValu nr Tusla HQ at 11.50 Fri the open deck at HSQ ; RSVP by text to 087 234 0010 ; I'll be on my way to XR @ the Spire !
