More than 20 local Grow Remote chapters are getting involved in Culture Night this year on 23rd September.
Remote workers will lead a variety of events in their local communities – Music Workshops for Kids, Local Heritage Tours, No Hangover Dance Parties, Storytelling Events, Change Makers Hackathon, and much more!
Grow Remote – Longford is involved & invites people to explore “International Flavours”, traditional foods prepared by our Hungarian, Argentinian, Brazilian, New Zealand, Polish and Irish friends and neighbours who have relocated to Longford and have made Longford their home. We will also be putting together a special mix of music from these countries to add to the occasion and you’ll have an opportunity to check out co:worx, the new digital hub in Edgeworthstown.
This event is organised by local remote workers and members of Grow Remote, a non-profit social enterprise using remote employment as a tool for community development. It is part of a nationwide programme of Grow Remote events taking place across the island on Culture Night in partnership with We Act, the national campaign for charities and communities groups in Ireland.
