The €100,000 AWS InCommunities Aragón Fund will help you to start or expand a community project in your neighbourhood in Aragón. AWS InCommunities is dedicated to building a world where every person has the opportunity to live a life of dignity on a healthy planet.

How it works
  • Select an idea listed below or submit your existing project and register to get your project page
  • Use your project page to complete the 30 Day Challenge
  • Submit a photo and your action plan
  • Let us know what impact you are having in your community
Who can apply
  • You live in Aragón. Priority will be given to projects in the towns of Villanueva de Gállego, El Burgo de Ebro or Huesca
  • You're passionate about building a thriving community where you live
  • You are an individual, an existing local group or a community organization
What you get
  • Seed funding to start your selected idea
  • Free starter resource pack, mentorship and technology tools to get started
  • Additional impact funding, once you report back on the social impact of your active project

  • Open Orchard

    Plant fruit trees in public spaces to provide free food for residents while bringing neighbours together through collaborative environmental action that creates lasting community connections.

  • FIRST® LEGO League - Explore

    Lead a hands-on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) programme in your school or community for 6–10 year olds

  • WeCount Project

    Monitor traffic and air pollution in your local community and use the data to create healthier and more sustainable communities.

  • Community Composting

    Unite your community to divert food waste from landfill by partnering with local composting companies for regular collection, reducing greenhouse gas emissions whilst creating valuable compost for local use.

  • FIRST LEGO League - Challenge

    Lead a hands-on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) programme in your school or community for 9-14 year olds

  • Education for Sharing

    Education for Sharing brings innovative play-based learning to elementary schools, empowering teachers to develop students' social-emotional skills whilst teaching UN Sustainable Development Goals through engaging games and activities.

  • Murals for Communities

    Murals for Communities brings people together through collaborative mural art projects that transform unloved spaces whilst fostering connection, creativity, and community pride across all ages and abilities.

  • Repair Café

    Organise a free meeting place in your community to repair things instead of throwing them away.

  • Hour of Code

    Join a global movement introducing students to computer science through fun, one-hour coding activities that require no prior experience and work on any device.
