About FIRST® LEGO® League Explore (Germany | Austria)
"The FIRST® LEGO® League activities fit very well with the STEM activities in our school, but it also strengthens children's social skills. The children work together in teams and have to get involved and coordinate with each other. They plan their projects independently and learn to create and give a presentation in which each child has an equal share of speaking time. This gives every child a sense of achievement. The kids always ask when we will next participate in the FIRST® LEGO® League."
Great for
- Typically led by teachers (but also possible in other educational and social institutions)
- who are looking for ways to get children excited about MINT
- who work with 6-10 year olds
Time
The program can be carried out during class time in 1-2 lessons per week (suggestion). The format in the classroom is designed so that it can be completely adapted to the needs of the class.
