This community-led initiative helps women turn skills and ideas into sustainable income through practical entrepreneurship support delivered at the local level. It combines hands-on business training, peer learning, structured coaching, and modest start-up support to strengthen confidence, improve income practices, and build long-term resilience.
Many women in underserved communities already sell food, provide services, or produce handmade goods, but remain trapped in survival-level income because they lack structured business guidance, financial skills, and market strategies.
This programme is designed to help women move beyond survival income and develop stronger entrepreneurial foundations so they can generate more stable and sustainable income for their families.
Participants attend 6 structured training clinics delivered by Women Of Will (WOW) covering:
- entrepreneurship fundamentals
- financial literacy
- digital marketing
Each topic is delivered across two sessions to allow practical application and discussion.
Following the training phase, participants continue with eight structured coaching sessions, where they review real business progress, troubleshoot challenges, and refine their strategies with guidance from WOW.
Participants meet regularly, track income simply, and learn how to improve quality and reach new buyers.
By strengthening entrepreneurship skills, financial literacy, and market access, the initiative helps women transition from informal survival activities into more stable and sustainable income-generating businesses.
Communities benefit through:
- stronger household income stability
- improved financial literacy
- the emergence of women leaders who can mobilise others
Starters receive practical templates, session outlines, tracking tools, and coaching support to help them facilitate the programme confidently and ensure businesses continue beyond the initial project period.
