Welcome to Repair Café! By setting up a Repair Café in your town or city, you can actively contribute to a more sustainable society. You can help create a society where everyone can find a place, where repair expertise is cherished and passed on, and where valuable raw materials are used in a responsible way. It's fun, you meet people from the neighbourhood and you also help the environment!

The month of May is a lovely month to clear out spaces and organise stuff! So come along to our next repair café in Dublin 3! Bring some broken items to repair (crockery, jewelry, clothes, bikes) - Don't forget to bring knives to get sharpened too!
Come to Mudisland Community Garden on Sunday from 2:30.
Bring an item to repair, a garment, some blunt knives or scissors, a bike or even broken crockery.
We are all volunteers and we will try to fix it!
We're so excited that we advertise our February event twice 😅
First repair café of 2024 coming soon!
This is our second year and we're delighted to be back. We're all volunteers so if you want to help us, come along to the garden and bring something to repair / mend.
We try everything except electrical goods.
Will you come to our next Repair Café? Check it out ... #reuse #recycle #dontthrowitout
Our special edition of the Repair café... This Sunday ahead of the big #HalloweenParty ! There will be the usual vintage bric-à-brac & curios and of course our mending activities but with a spooky twist! As usual, we invite everyone for a potluck at 5:30 (bring food to share, especially for our hungry volunteers 🎃).
We're also delighted to welcome #popscar - a local artist who will be singing on the caravan stage from 5:30. 👻
#Volunteers welcome to help set up at 1:00.
The repair café has been successful repairing items like soft toys, clothes, knives, garden tools and bikes for a few months now! We are so happy 😊
This Sunday we have our Harvest Gathering from 2pm to 9pm. It's free and open to all with food workshops music and even a fire show! Our next repair café will be on the 29th of October. Just in time to prepare Halloween 🎃
Funding has been very helpful for our repair café. We were able to purchase tools and material. We were able to buy equipment (sewing machines and bike equipment more specifically).
We feel that by creating this group, we can have a significant impact on our community towards a more sustainable society where repair expertise is cherished and passed on, and where valuable raw materials are used in a responsible way. Our repair café is also a free meeting places where people can use tools and materials to help make repairs on clothes, furniture, bicycles, crockery, appliances, toys, etc. Our repair café is in addition a place where you can talk to expert volunteers with repair skills.
Our aim is also to teach people to see their possessions in a new light and appreciate their value. We want to bring a sense of empowerment and perpetuate a collective responsibility to help each other combat waste. We are open to the public and accessible for people from all corners of our neighbourhood! We aim at teaching essential mending skills such as sewing buttons, fixing zips, and sharpening knives, helping people learn something by watching and working together.
