The plywood pieces of the design come from Better Block's Wikiblock, a digitally fabricated library of street-furniture designs that anyone, anywhere can download for free, cut out using a CNC (computer numerical control ) router, and build without any glue, screws, or nails.
How to get involved
Time:
Planning, fabricating and installing the parklet itself can be done within a week once you have the necessary permissions. Weekly maintenance of the urban food garden you're creating will require a couple of hours for watering, weeding, harvesting etc.
