Drogheda Playground for Entrepreneurs

Drogheda, Co. Louth

New entrepreneurs find lots of challenges. Developing entrepreneurial thinking to overcome challenges, get started, explore opportunities and ideas, and to innovate are essential to the success and ambition of entrepreneurs, but not always easy to get started with.

The Playground for Entrepreneurs provides a playful coaching tool that (community) coaches can use as a guide to support entrepreneurs to overcome these obstacles, through effective feedback and community support.

The Playground can be implemented in independent playing sessions (playing time of about 2 hours) or in longer programs that focus on Customer Discovery. Through the different areas of the game, participants learn everything they need to develop their project. Exploration and thinking about new opportunities, as well as ways of implementing, is key in this game.

The game provides guidance on the exploration of the opportunity (external circle of questions) as well as the validation of a solution and building up the project (internal circle of questions). It addresses the following areas:

  • The Heart – Entrepreneurial passion, forming a team, organizing yourself for entrepreneurship
  • The Ear – Listening to customers and experts, extracting useful insights
  • The Eye – Observing customers and competition, differentiating
  • The Hand – Prototyping and market experiments

The Playground for Entrepreneurs offers a very personalized approach to learn entrepreneurial thinking, as feedback goes directly to the participants and their projects. Participants are encouraged to support each other and build a strong community for all to benefit.
