The AWS InCommunities Fredericksburg Regional Fund will help nonprofit organizations start or expand a community project in Caroline, Spotsylvania and Stafford Counties, Virginia. Interested applicants can apply for up to $10,000 in funding to launch new projects, expand existing projects or introduce one of 5 established community programs (included below) with proven positive impact around the topics of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math (S.T.E.A.M.) Education, Environmental Sustainability or Cultural Heritage. This initiative is part of AWS InCommunities' long-standing commitment to being a good neighbor by supporting and helping deliver innovative programs that will have a lasting impact in communities where AWS has a presence. Applications will be accepted from April 1st to June 12th, 2024.

As we continue to grow our presence in Virginia, our focus is to not only bring economic benefits through our investments and the jobs we create, but to also support local causes and empower communities. The launch of these community funds is the first of a series of community outreach programs AWS will launch in these counties as part of our continued investment in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
