The Idea

The Idea

Our plan is to first inform the other student population and school staff on what it means to recycle and how to properly do it. We will work with teachers and coaches to set recycling bins in specific areas of the school (cafeteria ,commons area and around exits). With this funding we will buy bins and bags that will be used to hand out and collect plastic bottles from athletes after practices and at sports events. Our school will benefit from this project by having our student population and staff be knowledgable about recycling and the change it have in our school. We want to make recycling a norm. Furrthermore, we want to be able to present our project and impact to other schools in our district in hopes to make this a sustainable district-wide project.
