Receipts from our last event

The seed funding we received helped to bring the community together for a sensory fun day in the park. We had carers of autistic children bringing their young people along and were pleasantly surprised that the activities we had created were really effective for autistic children. We had over 40 attendees and received donations on the day although we weren’t actively asking for donations, parents wanted to support our community initiative and would like to see these events ran on a more consistent basis. We are now looking to turn the nurture society into a CIC to access more sustainable funding and looking for venues to hold the next creative play session in October half term.
Engagement levels with all activities were really long and we started to see cues building as our activities were really planned out.

Hey Nurture Family,
I wanted to say a huge thank you to those that participated in the create challenge yesterday and shared some of their favourite things they like to do with their children. It was amazing seeing you guys. I will be scheduling a zoom meeting for next week and will keep you all informed.

We have resubmitted our proposal. I have included the plan for the create challenge and how we will incorporate that into the Leyton Let's Play Day.
