FIRST® LEGO® League Discover is an international STEAM education program in which students work together in groups to build models, conduct research, and make presentations.

This curriculum consists of 10 sessions (classes) of 40-60 minutes each. The length of time and the number of sessions can be changed to suit the needs of the kindergarten or organization. The final session is a presentation, and the date can be decided by the kindergarten or organization. It can be incorporated into other events held by the kindergarten or organization.

DUPLO® Spin-up Amusement Park Set x 3 Sets - A DUPLO® block set that allows children to learn the fundamentals of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) while having fun.
FLL Discover Set x3
・This is a mission model set exclusively for FLL Discover. It consists of a tournament mat and LEGO DUPLO® blocks.
3 Team Meeting Guides (for instructors) - Lesson plans for planning and conducting 10 sessions (classes) and holding a final presentation.
- Includes learning objectives, teaching tips, cleanup tips, and a checklist for tracking progress.
Engineering Notebooks (Student) x One for each student A team workbook for recording ideas, notes and sketches.
- The notes provide specific tasks, tips, and points for reflection to help you progress through the 10 sessions.
3 Trophies
-This is a trophy awarded to each team after a presentation at a kindergarten or school.
Certificates x number of students . These certificates are awarded to all students after a presentation at the kindergarten or school.
Secure a place for activities and storage of teaching materials.
At FLL Discover, we will be split into groups (recommended 4 people).
Each group will have access to the Duplo® Amusement Park Set and FLL Discover Set, so
Make sure you have enough space to do your activities.
It is also necessary to secure space to store teaching materials and work after the activities are completed.
Receive a class pack
Once you've received your class pack and prepared the activity area and storage space for your equipment and materials, you're almost ready to go.

Take online training
FIRST Japan will provide online training for implementing class packs.
Please decide on a date with a FIRST Japan representative and attend the training.
The training will last approximately 90 minutes and will cover the following:
・Explanation of class pack equipment ・How to proceed with activities ・Instructor's mindset ・Explanation of presentations
