提案: The entire commitment should be about 10-20 hours. The Skate Mind Project likes to meet with Starters before launching a training to go over the materials, discuss logistics, and answer any questions. The actual training itself is about 90 minutes. The remaining time is dedicated to preparation, possible recruitment and identification of youth, and potentially reserving space and catering.

Welcome to the Skate Mind Project! If you are interested in bringing together the power of skateboarding and positive mental health for young people ages 12-18, please reach out to us! The Skate Mind Project seeks to bring together the powerful benefits of skating while incorporating evidence-based mental health and well-being strategies. Trainings are between 60-90 minutes, in-person (depending on location) or online, and will both promote the benefits of skating while also teaching skills to support wellbeing. Upon finishing the training each youth participant will get their own skateboard indicating they completed the course. Reach out to us with any questions and looking forward to hopefully working with you and your community!
