Nirmaan runs a dedicated Lake Cleaning and Restoration Programme across Hyderabad and beyond, combining waste removal, water treatment, plantation drives, and community engagement to restore degraded urban lakes. Their environmental portfolio also includes 92 solar borewells installed in Amrabad Tiger Reserve, demonstrating proven capability in solar-powered water management at scale. A 3 kW floating solar aeration system oxygenates a lake throughout daylight hours, directly improving dissolved oxygen levels and supporting fish populations. Supplementary elements — solar lakeside lighting, water quality sensor monitoring, and information boards — can be added within the grant or co-funded with city authorities. Lake restoration groups, fishing communities, and school nature clubs provide natural volunteer stewardship with strong personal investment in the lake's recovery. Monthly water quality readings, aeration uptime logs, and energy generation data feed directly into Nirmaan's environmental impact reporting.
