It all starts with Hello!

For 16 years, Street Feast has been creating moments that turn strangers into neighbours and streets into communities. But in a 2026 world that’s more connected than ever, too many of us still don’t know the people living next door.

Our annual weekend of street parties & community lunches is takin...

How to start a project on ChangeX

  • 1

    Get People on Board

Get a couple of trusted helpers to get the ball rolling and it’s only a matter of time before the momentum begins to grow.

  • 2

    Register Your Feast

Registering your Feast will also allow people in your neighbourhood to discover that your feast is happening and hopefully they can stop by on the day.

  • 3

    Decide on a Location

A Street Feast can take place anywhere! On the street, in your front garden, in a car park, your local field once it's easy to access and welcoming to everyone then you're all set!

  • 4

    Throw a Great Party

This is the one day in the year when we have complete control over our streets!

Welcome back to Street Feast!

We're looking forward to celebrating Ireland's wonderful community spirit at this year's Street Feast, taking place over two days this May.

At its heart, Street Feast is about connecting with your neighbours over great locally sourced food, but it's also about building resilience and sustainability in our neighbourhoods. Making and sharing food together is a special act and can be a huge force for good; a way to find common ground and to share culture. It doesn’t matter if you live in an apartment or house, all you need is a space to bring people together.

I hope you'll take part with your neighbours on Saturday May 23rd - Sunday May 24th, 2026
