Purchasing of wagons, garbage cans, standardized labels, and large bio-degradable bags for moving of large amounts of recyling materials.

How will your community benefit from this project?
Students will be building a trash and recylcing station so that the surrounding community can also participate in recycling which lessons the effect of pollution. We will publicize this project to our community (which includes local residents, and three universities) to help raise awareness about the importance of recycling and composting. 3rd Grade students will be leading the initiative and collecting and managing all recylced materials.
Do you have any measurable goals for your project, such as the number of people that will participate?
We will measure succes by recording the participation by gradelevel as well as the quantity of collected recyling materials.
