Good afternoon, I am the 8th Grade Humanities Teacher at Graham Elementary and Middle School here in Columbus, Ohio. Each year over a semester our students learn about Food Justice/ Insecurity in our World, Country, State and City and complete a big project in our community to make a change. While in NY last month I noticed they had Community Food Fridges throughout. I would be interested in learning more about Community Food Fridges in the Columbus area and how my students can become involved. Thanks.

Hi! I’m part of Food4AllCbus and we are currently working on getting fridges set up in Clintonville and south Columbus. We are really excited about kids ages 13 and under being a huge part of planning, executing and helping to maintain the fridge! I’d love to talk more about how your class could be involved. This page seems like it doesn’t have anything going on, so I made my own! It’s called Columbus Community Fridge.

I’m in the beginning stages of learning how to acquire funding, but I do know I’ll need a team of at least 4 committed people to collaborate with.
