The swimming buoys will cost in the region of 300 euro and their upkeep and maintenance will cost a further 300 per annum. 

Impact: How will your community benefit from this project? - They will have the use of the swimming markers which map out a safe usable space in the harbour for people to swim comfortably and safely.

Do you have any measurable goals for your project, such as the number of people that will participate? - There are currently 50 people in our swimming group that will enjoy the swimming buoys. They will all be made aware of the GreenPlan and will be asked to contribute to achieving each of the steps.

Are you hoping to spread knowledge or increase interest in a specific subject? - I want to spread knowledge about our local environment, specifically the coastal environment in and around Loughshinny. To educate people on how to use the water safely and how to keep the beach clean.
