on 02.01. 2025. We had our 3nd meet up. We forget to take photos until the end. Our kid leader was staying the end and helped us to clean up.

On 01.25.2025.
We had our 2nd meeting. It took the kids around 1 whole hour to build the cart. After they finished. The older kids gave the littles ones a ride.

On Jan 18th,
We had our first team meeting. There are overall 9 kids and 3 adults joined us. We unpacked the materials and trying to build the major cart first.

Action plan:

Timeline: Since the holiday is coming, we are planning to sart our project right after New Year, also planning to meet weekly and have 8-12 sessions total.

Budget: Since this project request bigger space and longer meeting time. We are planning to use the budget rent rooms from library and buying food and sncks for the kids and adults after the meetings.

Impact: This is a great project for young kids. We believe it will not only benift the kids who join the project but also donate to school or non profit kid group for other kids to use. We are planning to share the pictures and video to the community as well. ( No full face of any kids )

Location: We are planning to rent a room from library for big group. If we cannot a large enough room we will separate the kids in two teams and work in some team number's living room.

How has your kid leader been involved in the planning of the project so far?

  • Our kid leader name is Bruce T. who is currently 8 years old. He will be the one to help the younger kid to finish their part.

  • We also planning to have different kid to be the co-leader for each session, so the co-leader and Bruce will have the next session building topic.
