WhatBox partners with communities to create pop-up adventure playgrounds and “junk labs” where kids and families enjoy drop-in experiences that celebrate playful learning, healthy risk-taking and community development. The WhatBox model is adapted to serve communities new to adventure playgrounds. A mobile pop-up experience provides an easy test experience or pilot project for many cities and neighborhoods because it comes and goes like a small circus.
