Hello! We're so excited you're thinking about creating a parklet in your city. We love parklets, because not only do they challenge us to rethink a space normally reserved to store cars, but they also allow for more space for pedestrians. We've also seen how impactful they can be for small businesses, expanding their footprints past their doors.
We look forward to designing with you!

With this project, you'll reimagine what a simple 20-feet-by-8-feet parking spot can be. Choosing from four designs, you can turn the parking spot into a space for play, a space to expand business, or merely a space to be. The foundation of the design will be from the digital fabrication library Wikiblock, but you'll bring the colour and unique spin to the design.

We created an amazing opportunity for people to meet each other and I still can't believe how many people I met from my neighbourhood that I would not have met otherwise... Parklets are a global movement of design activism and what's not to like about that!'
