Our partners include Microsoft, Nickelodeon, Accenture, the LEGO Foundation and Amazon Web Services.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>This role: Finance Manager<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This role is an opportunity for a pragmatic, strategic but hands on Finance Manager who enjoys a varied working environment in a high growth environment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You will join our Operations team and be responsible for the day-to-day management of our finances, taking ownership of optimising key financial metrics e.g. gross margin, regular financial reports, management accounts, and budget monitoring. Reporting to our Head of Operations, you will also take a longer term view, preparing forecasts and planning for our future.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>In this role, you will:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Produce financial reports, such as financial statements and budget performance<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prepare monthly and end-of-year management accounts, including an in-depth expenditure and performance analysis<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Analyse financial information, summarise financial status and prepare financial projections<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prepare and manage annual and project budgets\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prepare cash forecasts and monitor cash flow<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Manage all financial activities including purchase requests, invoices, bills and expenses<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finance point person on grant payments to multiple regions<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Work with our third party providers to review and complete payroll and PAYE\/PRSI (or relevant taxes) returns in Ireland, US and UK and any new regions<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Track, report and optimise key financial metrics e.g. cost of delivery\/gross margin etc.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prepare documents for and liaise with external auditors\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ensure compliance with all regulations and internal controls<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Act as principal point of liaison with external legal and governance advisers\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>We are looking for people* who have:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Qualified as an accountant (CIMA\/ACCA\/ACA or equivalent), with at least three years post qualification experience in an accounting environment (experience in a high growth start-up is an advantage)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The ability to prepare and analyse detailed financial information<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Financial control experience<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and cloud-based accountancy products (e.g. Xero)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The creativity and resourcefulness to solve problems that arise\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A demonstrated commitment to social or environmental change<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strong empathy and ethical fibre.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*We encourage you to apply if you believe your skills and experience are a good fit for this role, even if you don\u2019t tick every box above.
