This is all about doing less… less consumption, less waste, less straws, it’s a win, win! By spreading the word every time you ask for “no straw” wherever straws are served, and by requesting that restaurants & bars only serve straws upon request, you will help save the planet from single use plastic pollution one straw at a time. Little things do matter. Tell us about your “Last Plastic Straw Moment”…hopefully it’s today!

Walking dog this morning. Picked up 3 plastic straws and spoons in my neighborhood.
Just found out about a group in Mansfield called Plastic-Less MansfieldMA that is promoting the plastic straw movement! You can check them out on Facebook. It is a Mansfield Girl Scout Troop and I just "liked" their page and gave them 5 stars. : )

One of my favorite things since starting this has been getting emails, texts or in person responses from people who have changed their plastic straw habits! Just this morning a friend of mine, who used plastic straws in her home and then put them in her recycling because she thought they were recyclable, sent me this picture. She switched to reusable metal straws!
Wow, Dell is a huge company that I order from every day for work and this makes me so happy to do business with them!
How about joining this challenge... plastic free July?
Thank you for sharing this Grace! I just registered to go plastic free in July! I love the Living Plastic Free tab on the website because it gives you tips and specific examples of how to avoid plastic for the different aspects of every day life.
So excited when I heard this on the radio this morning:
Tom Brady has joined the plastic straw movement! He posted this video on Instagram and called on people and other celebrities to join him in saying no to plastic straws.
This is an article that National Geographic just released about a whale in Thailand who starved to death from eating plastic, preventing him from eating food.
Hi Grace, thank you for sharing that. So sad : (
