Site Audit & Visit
This is your goal-setting and clarity phase and one of the most important steps in creating your Mini Growing Space.
Your coach will assess your site either in person or virtually to take stock of what is already available and what is still needed. Together, you will define one clear and achievable goal to work toward over the next two months.
This focused approach helps keep you on track, increases your chances of success, and supports you in completing the project within the 8-week programme.
Design & Planning
This is the realistic planning phase. We begin by creating a simple yet comprehensive garden design that gives you a clear visual of how your Mini Growing Space will look. This design takes into account the elements you want to include and what is realistically achievable within your budget.
Children should be actively involved during this stage, especially in sharing ideas and choosing what they would like to grow and plant. Their input helps create a space that feels meaningful, engaging, and fun.
Preparation & Materials
Once the design is agreed upon, we move to the preparation stage, sourcing the right materials for your garden. Growing Space will guide you through a tailored toolkit designed to meet the specific needs of your community and young children.
If we have materials in stock, you can purchase additional supplies directly through us to complete your project smoothly and efficiently.
Build & Execute
This is an exciting stage for everyone involved!
We’ll help you set a clear timeframe to ensure all materials and plans are followed, keeping you focused on the original design. This way, your project can be completed quickly and effectively.
Don’t forget to take high qulaity photos and videos, and document your Mini Growing Space transformation with before and after pictures!
Planting & Community Events
Your garden is now built, with just the final touches to complete.
It’s time to start growing food and plan your first harvest day with the children. We will help you choose the best seeds that offer quick and rewarding results for young gardeners.
You will also receive proper training to confidently teach children how to care for and enjoy their new garden.
About My Mini Growing Space
"“Pascale, who we got to know through ChangeX, has helped my community so much with our garden redesign project. She helped us with finding resources and suppliers, and giving us ideas on how to engage the local community. She has gone out of her way to help us, all while being incredibly passionate and proactive. Her advice and guidance has led to a successful garden that encourages learn through play, and fosters a healthier lifestyle.” "
